Hilton to Launch Tapestry Collection in Saudi Arabia

14 July 20252 Mins Read

Hilton has signed an agreement with Al Musbah Group to open the first Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Saudi Arabia, set to debut in Madinah later in 2025.

Hilton has announced the signing of Diyar Ajwa, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, in collaboration with Al Musbah Group. This marks the introduction of the Tapestry Collection brand to Saudi Arabia, with the property expected to open in Madinah later in 2025. The development is part of Hilton’s strategy to expand its presence in the Kingdom, which is a significant destination for religious tourism.

The new hotel will be located north of the central Haram area in Madinah, providing direct pedestrian access and views of Al Masjid Al Nabawi. The site is strategically positioned to benefit from strong transport links, including proximity to Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport and the Haramain High-Speed Rail, which connects Makkah, Madinah, and Jeddah.

The Diyar Ajwa property will feature 221 guest rooms and suites. It will also include an all-day dining restaurant, a café, and a fitness center. The design of the hotel will be inspired by the Ajwa date, a local product grown exclusively in Madinah, adding a cultural element to the guest experience.

Hilton currently operates 20 hotels in Saudi Arabia, with 77 more in the pipeline. This expansion is aligned with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to diversify the economy and develop the tourism sector. The introduction of the Tapestry Collection brand is part of Hilton’s broader strategy to introduce more of its brands in key destinations across the Kingdom.

The signing of Diyar Ajwa follows Hilton’s recent agreement with Al Musbah Group to introduce the Spark by Hilton brand in Makkah Aziziyah, marking the brand’s debut in the Middle East and Africa region. Hilton’s expansion efforts in Saudi Arabia are part of its commitment to growing its portfolio and diversifying its offerings in the region.

The Tapestry Collection by Hilton is a global portfolio of independent hotels.
