As part of a story mission in the Fortnite Simpsons mini season, you’ll need to collect dangerous objects in a donut storm. Just based off the quest’s name, the objective can be a little vague. What exactly is a dangerous object? What are donut storms? Even without knowing what they are, the quest itself sounds, well, dangerous! You’ll have to bob and weave around donuts falling from the sky and avoid other players trying to complete the quest at the same time.
Here’s how to collect dangerous objects in a donut storm in Fortnite.
How to collect dangerous objects in a donut storm in Fortnite
First things first, you’ll need a donut storm to appear on the map, which starts happening once the second Storm Circle fully closes. Two donut storms will spawn at a time, and you can find their locations by opening your map and searching for a frosted pink donut icon in a pink circle.
If you miss the donut storms the first go around, you’ll need to survive until the next Storm Circle closes.
To collect a dangerous object in a donut storm, you’ll need to first head inside the donut storm’s area, which is the pink zone around the donut icon, and pick up essentially any weapon that you see. We’ve found that the easiest way to complete this quest is to sit at the very edge of a donut storm, drop three of your own weapons, and pick them back up.
You can avoid all of the donuts falling from the sky and safely pick up what you’ve already found, but make sure to have some cover as other players will still hunt you down! Alternatively, some of the falling donuts will have a chest on them that contains dangerous objects. Carefully run up to a chest and collect the loot inside to complete the quest.
