Calena Partners acquires three hotels in Spain from HIP
Spanish real estate investment company Calena Partners has acquired three hotels (887 rooms) in Spain from Spanish hospitality company Hotel Investment Partners (HIP), majority owned by American private equity firm Blackstone along with Singaporean sovereign wealth fund GIC, for an amount reported to be around €200 million (€225,500 per room). The portfolio includes two properties in Mallorca, the five-star, 260-room Fergus Style Tobago, the four-star, 417-room Barceló Ponent Beach, and the three-star, 210-room Corallium Beach by Lopesan in the Canary Islands. All three properties are situated by the sea and will retain their current operators. The transaction was structured as a club deal involving several Spanish family offices.
Victory Group acquires Cameron House on Loch Lomond, Scotland, from KSL
London-based real estate investment company Victory Group has acquired the five-star, 208-room Cameron House on Loch Lomond in Scotland from US private equity firm KSL Capital Partners for an amount reported to be £100 million (£481,000 per room). The property is situated on the shore of the Loch Lomond lake in western Scotland, about an hour northwest of Glasgow. The hotel includes five restaurants, three bars, two golf courses and three swimming pools. Victory Group plans to extensively invest into the hotel’s wellness and service offerings.
Aberdeen acquires B&B Hotel Luxembourg Centre Cloche d’Or from Nextensa and Promobe
British asset management company Aberdeen Investments, on behalf of Irish Life Investment Managers, has acquired the three-star, 150-room B&B Hotel Luxembourg Centre Cloche d’Or in Luxembourg from Belgian real estate developer Nextensa and Luxembourg-based property developer Promobe, for €37.4 million (€249,000 per room). The property, which opened in September 2025, is situated in the southern part of Luxembourg City, a ten-minute drive from the old town.
Único Hotels acquires CoolRooms Palacio de Luces in Spain
Spanish owner-operator Único Hotels has acquired the five-star, 44-room CoolRooms Palacio de Luces in Luces, Spain, from Spanish owner-operator CoolRooms Hotels. The 16th-century palace is situated on Spain’s northern coast, near the seaside town of Llanes in Asturias, about 1.5 hours west of Bilbao. The hotel is affiliated with Small Luxury Hotels of the World and includes a restaurant, bar and spa with a swimming pool. Único plans to invest into the hotel’s guest rooms, F&B spaces and wellness area.
