Iconic Vancouver venue to host an anonymous art party this month with DJs and cocktails

15 April 20263 Mins Read

In a landscape where Vancouver’s artist spaces are shrinking, supporting our local arts scene has never been more important. Case in point, Beaumont Studios in Mount Pleasant is not just a place to party on NYE, it’s one of the city’s few third spaces. Whether it’s to create art, grab a cup of coffee from Honest to Pete’s, get a tarot reading done, shop its vintage boutique, or see what’s on display at the B1 Gallery, there are plenty of ways to engage with this non-profit arts and culture hub on a daily basis.

If you’re in search of community, you’ll no doubt find it here.

A world-class venue

The world-class venue hosts all kinds of local events, from meditation circles to artist-led workshops to fun nights out, like the upcoming Art Incognito party.

Equal parts gallery night and art party, the event is now in its second year, bringing a mix of DJs, food trucks, cocktails, and hundreds of original art pieces for sale.

Anonymous art show and party

Inspired by popular anonymous art shows in North Vancouver and Whistler, Art Incognito will feature over 360 original 8” x 8” artworks up for grabs — all priced at $50 each. Essentially, you can get an original piece of art for practically the same price as half a tank of gas. The fun catch is, you won’t know who made it until after you make your selection!

Over 200 artists and creatives have come together for this year’s fundraising event, which will open over 40 studios to the public. Guests can also expect to check out live performances, a rotating lineup of DJs, tarot readings, games, and a human slot machine.

Plus, at midnight, a 50/50 raffle winner will be drawn.

“In a way, Art Incognito combines all the best of The Beaumont, showcasing creatives and strengthening the local arts landscape,” says Beaumont executive director Jude Kusnierz. “It’s a great way to give back, get something special in return, and join a kickass party. We’re so excited to be back for a second year!”

Taking home an original artwork

Admission to Art Incognito is priced at $25 per person. If you want to take home an original artwork, it’ll be $75 total for the first tier, which guarantees that you’ll take home a masterpiece, but the selection order will depend on the draw. For $150, you’ll get your pick in the second round, and for $250, you’ll be one of the first 20 people to select your artwork.

The latter two ticket tiers also come with two complimentary cocktails.

Operating since 2004, The Beaumont houses 45 long-term artist studios, hosts countless art, music and theatre events, and has launched the careers of many Vancouver creatives.

This event is a great way to give back to a registered charity and ensure that the inclusive space is around for years and years to come.

When: Friday, April 24, 2026
Time: 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Where: 326 West 5th Ave.
Cost: $25 for admission, $50 to purchase anonymous art
