IHG Owners Association Names Prakash Maggan as 2026 Global Board Chair

Prakash Maggan has been appointed Chair of the IHG Owners Association Global Board of Directors for 2026, with the full board lineup also announced.

The IHG Owners Association has named Prakash Maggan, Principal and CFO of Rainmaker Hospitality, as Chair of its Global Board of Directors for 2026. The announcement includes the full slate of board members who will serve during the year.

Maggan has served on the Association’s Board since 2024 and has held roles including chair of the Technology Committee and vice chair of the Americas Regional Council. The 2026 board will oversee initiatives and advocacy efforts on behalf of IHG hotel owners throughout the year.

The 2026 Global Board of Directors is as follows:

The Association represents owners of IHG Hotels & Resorts properties worldwide. The board’s responsibilities include advancing strategic plan initiatives and advocating on behalf of members on operational standards and industry issues.

Steve Sickel was recently appointed CEO of the IHG Owners Association and will serve on the 2026 board. The board includes representatives from the Americas, Europe, and Australasia regions, as well as an IHG corporate representative.

The IHG Owners Association was established in 1955 and represents the interests of more than 5,000 owners globally. The 2026 board will begin its term at the start of the year.
