IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Makson India Hospitality Pvt Ltd for the InterContinental Jaipur Achrol Resort, which is scheduled to open in early 2030. The 225-key luxury resort will include 36 villas and 189 guest rooms on a 16-acre site along the Delhi–Jaipur Road in Achrol.
The resort will be the fourth IHG-branded hotel within the Jaipur city limits and the second InterContinental hotel in the market. It will feature four dining options: an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, a lobby lounge, and a pool bar. Event facilities will include two venues, one of which is a ballroom, for weddings and social gatherings. Additional amenities will include a club lounge, spa, fitness centre, swimming pool, retail outlets, and parking.
Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan and part of India’s Golden Triangle tourist circuit, is known for its cultural heritage and architectural landmarks, including Amer Fort, Jantar Mantar, and the Walled City. The city is also a leading destination for weddings and events.
IHG currently operates 52 hotels across six brands in India: Six Senses, InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, Crowne Plaza, voco Hotels, Holiday Inn Resort, and Holiday Inn Express. The company has a pipeline of 98 hotels in development in India.
