Join Us In Paris! / Véngase Con Nosotors a París! — 24TH STREET THEATRE, Theater News

Join Us in Paris!

If you have been enjoying watching the sites of beautiful Paris during the Olympic games, you will love OUR NEXT SHOW.  Pascal & Julien, written by Australian playwright Daniel Keene, is set in Paris. Although Daniel is quite respected in his native Australia, he has a strong connection to France and much of his work has been produced there. Keene’s play was recommended to us by our dear friend Mike Kenny, playwright of Walking the Tightrope, which was a huge hit for us that toured nine U.S. cities, finishing at Center Theatre Group. When Deb read Pascal & Julien it reminded her of Tightrope. A simple story about love and human relationships, elegantly told. A piece sophisticated enough for all ages.

In fact, much of our production team for Pascal & Julien is the same team from Tightrope over a decade ago. Our own Deb Devine is directing alongside Assistant Director Jesus Castaños Chima. Video Designer Matt Hill, Lighting Designer Dan Weingarten, and Set Designer Keith Mitchell all worked on Tightrope. Our Costume Designer, Shannon Kennedy, helped with Tightrope too. Our Sound Designer, John Nobori, is the only new designer on Pascal & Julien and we’re thrilled to welcome him. The show stars Paul Turbiak, Darby Winn, and Jude Schwartz.  Pascal & Julien opens Sept 7th and we can’t wait to transport you to Paris. No passport required.  GET TIX NOW.  Merci.
