Jujutsu Kaisen season 4’s first trailer show release is closer than expected

Fans of Jujutsu Kaisen were not expecting much from Mappa’s 15th anniversary event, considering the third season of the anime just wrapped up a few months ago. Instead, the animation studio surprised everyone with a pretty significant teaser trailer, showing some of the most hyped moments from the upcoming season.

Celebrating 15 years since the foundation of one of the most important studios in the anime industry, Mappa’s livestream was a big events for fans of the series produced by the studio based in Nakano, Tokyo. After a brief introduction by Kenjiro Tsuda, the actor behind the voice of Kento Nanami, the stream shifted to Junya Enoki (Yuji Itadori) and Megumi Ogata (Yuta Okkotsu). Among the news they shared with fans, the most explosive one was surely the first teaser trailer for Jujutsu Kaisen season 4. Watch it below.

The brief video teases the battles that will take place in the next installment of the anime, as the Culling Game engineered by Kenjaku continues. A lot of hype surrounds Kinji Hakari vs. Hajime Kashimo, as both jujutsu sorcerers are extremely powerful, and Hakari’s technique in particular promises a lot of chaos and bizarre visuals. The trailer also showed Kenjaku continuing his machinations, but the villain will soon have to step onto the battlefield to face Yuki Tsukumo and Choso.

A release date wasn’t announced for season 4 of Jujutsu Kaisen, but the quality of the trailer and its length are a good sign. The production seems already pretty advanced, so it won’t be too long before we get an official announcement of a release window, at the very least.
