JW Marriott Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa has appointed Tesha Mascarenhas as Director of Operations, Rashad K. Brown as Director of Restaurant Operations, and Nicholas Plys as Director of Recreation.
JW Marriott Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa has expanded its executive leadership team with the appointment of three new directors. Tesha Mascarenhas has been named Director of Operations, Rashad K. Brown has been appointed Director of Restaurant Operations, and Nicholas Plys has joined as Director of Recreation.
Mascarenhas brings more than 19 years of experience in operations roles across Marriott’s luxury and premium portfolios. Prior to joining JW Marriott Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa, Mascarenhas served as Resident Manager at JW Marriott Bonnet Creek. Her previous positions include leadership roles at JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes and JW Marriott Marco Island, as well as a corporate position as Senior Manager for Loyalty Operations at Marriott International Headquarters. In her new role, Mascarenhas is responsible for overseeing all daily operations at the resort.
Brown, with over 20 years of experience in food and beverage management, most recently served as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage at JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes. At JW Marriott Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa, Brown will oversee the resort’s dining outlets and culinary programs.
Plys joins the resort as Director of Recreation following his tenure at JW Marriott Tampa Water Street. In his new role, Plys is responsible for pool operations, fitness programming, and the JW Kids Club at the resort.
