AC Hotel Beverly Hills has appointed Kevin Briggs as general manager. His responsibilities include guest experience, team leadership, financial performance and community engagement, as well as guiding the property’s continued growth and overall positioning.

Briggs has more than two decades of hospitality experience, including work in luxury and lifestyle hotel operations across the Los Angeles market.

Briggs has been with Azul Hospitality Group since 2019 and most recently served as general manager of The Glenmark, Glendale, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel. In that role, he oversaw the hotel’s operational and business strategy.

During his tenure at The Glenmark, Briggs supported partnerships with local artists and introduced programming designed to connect the hotel with Glendale’s creative community. His work at the property included efforts to establish connections with travelers and the surrounding community.

Before joining Azul Hospitality Group, Briggs spent eight years with OLS Hotels & Resorts, including as general manager of The Grafton on Sunset. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Hotel Palomar in Westwood and Le Montrose Suite Hotel in West Hollywood.

Briggs has emphasized team culture, guest experience and connections with local communities in his management work. He earned a degree in business management from Monroe Community College.

“After spending much of my career in hotels across Los Angeles, I’m excited to take on this role at AC Hotel Beverly Hills,” Briggs said. “What matters most to me is building a strong team and making sure that translates into a great experience for our guests. I’m also looking forward to getting to know our neighbors and finding new ways for the hotel to even further connect to the community around us.”

Outside of the hotel, Briggs makes music with his rock band.
