IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

You will be called on over the coming year to make decisions for people who should be making those decisions for themselves. It’s good that you care about them so much, but don’t neglect your own needs along the way. It’s okay to say “No.”

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Mars may be moving through the most dynamic area of your chart, but today and over the weekend it makes a series of links that will challenge you to give your best while staying level headed at all times. In other words, control your emotions!

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

You are who you are for a good cosmic reason and anyone who says you need to change your ways must be ignored. You will have more important things to do over the next few days than argue with people who clearly don’t understand you.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

You don’t need to be shy about announcing your goals but you do have to make sure you stand a good chance of reaching them. If you say you are going to do something but fail to make the grade it won’t do your reputation much good.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

You will have to make a tough decision concerning a friend or family member today. It has reached the stage where there is not much more you can do to help them and now they are pretty much on their own. Let them know it’s sink or swim.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Mars in your sign makes you intensely bullish, but today’s Mars-Mercury link, and tomorrow’s Mars-Pluto link warn you cannot just charge ahead and expect to succeed. What is your long-term plan? If you have not got one then make one up quick.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

Mercury, your ruler, makes several major links over the next 24 hours, so you won’t be able to hide yourself away and hope no one notices you are missing. Face up to life and pretend you totally and utterly believe in yourself and what you are doing.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Don’t waste time trying to make sense of your actions because they are motivated by a deep desire to get things done no matter what the dangers might be. This is one of those occasions when impulsive behavior could actually work well for you.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

A positive mental attitude is an absolute must. Mind planet Mercury in your sign is under considerable pressure at the moment and the only way to relieve that pressure is to get out into the world and act as if you cannot lose – and you won’t.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

It’s not easy for you to be cautious but hopefully you will see the need to slow down a bit and take fewer risks today. If you get knocked down you will, of course, bounce back up again, but why get knocked down in the first place?

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

If there is something you want from a colleague or friend then just ask them. You may think that dropping a few hints will do the trick but it won’t. Even if they notice they could misinterpret the signals and give you something you don’t want or need.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Others can rant and rave about the injustices of the world but their words won’t change a thing. You, on the other hand, know that by taking action, however small, you can nudge events in the right direction. It’s better to do something than nothing at all.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

You may find it hard to say what is on your mind today but that’s okay. In fact it could be for the best as the planets warn your words will sound harsh to more sensitive ears. Try playing the strong, silent type for a while.
