Kimpton Quinta da Marinha Opens in Cascais, Portugal

Kimpton Quinta da Marinha is located between the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park and the Atlantic Ocean, minutes from the center of Cascais and within reach of Lisbon. The opening is Kimpton’s second in Portugal.

The resort has 180 guest rooms, eight suites and six signature suites. Room views include forests, the resort’s 18-hole golf course and the Atlantic coastline, depending on the accommodation. Guest room interiors include mid-century influences, layered textures and botanical accents drawn from the surrounding landscape.

Natur Spa includes a jacuzzi, sauna and seven treatment rooms and offers holistic rituals and therapies. Other facilities include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts and padel courts.

The property’s golf course was designed by Robert Trent Jones. The hotel also offers access to activities in the surrounding area, including surfing at Guincho Beach, hiking in the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park and visiting galleries, markets and vineyards.

Dining and beverage venues include FICA!, Ao Ponto and an outdoor pool bar. FICA! serves specialty cocktails and wines. Ao Ponto centers on grilled dishes and offers premium meats, local seafood and seasonal delicacies. The outdoor pool bar serves drinks during the day.

The hotel offers Kimpton Kickstart, a daily morning service of complimentary coffee and tea, and Kimpton Social Hour, an evening gathering with complimentary drinks and light bites. Regular small-group learning sessions with local artisans include traditional cork makers and craftspeople.
