Kings III Emergency Communications, a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, announced today that it has acquired the elevator diagnostics and intelligence technology behind Lift AI One from Lift AI, including its IoT sensing platform, embedded analytics, and related intellectual property. The acquisition expands Kings III’s growing portfolio of technologies with advanced diagnostics capabilities designed to enhance reliability, visibility, and the customer experience across vertical transportation systems.

Since 1989, Kings III has helped customers respond when something goes wrong. Through LiftNet, the company has expanded its capabilities beyond emergency communications to provide connectivity and operational visibility across elevator systems. The acquisition of the technology behind Lift AI One represents the next evolution of that journey, bringing additional intelligence and visibility to elevator operations and furthering Kings III’s vision for a more connected elevator ecosystem.

The technology complements LiftNet’s controller-based telemetry by extending visibility beyond the controller through intelligent sensing and analytics. Together, these capabilities provide a more complete picture of elevator performance across a broader range of equipment. The technology expands the applications for elevator monitoring and telemetry, enabling Kings III and LiftNet to deepen partnerships with elevator service providers, building owners, and property managers as they work to optimize vertical transportation assets and enhance tenant experiences.

“Customers don’t want less information about their elevators – they want more,” said Norm Nelson, CEO of Kings III Emergency Communications. “As expectations around uptime and tenant experience continue to rise, we believe the future belongs to proactive notification systems that provide greater awareness and actionable insights. Through Kings III, LiftNet, and now these new capabilities, we’re continuing to build a more intelligent and connected

“From the beginning, our vision for Lift AI One was to help the industry move beyond simply reacting to shutdowns and toward greater awareness of elevator performance and emerging issues,” said Rob Wurth, Founder and CEO of Lift AI. “The future of elevator management will be driven by data, connectivity, and intelligent insights, and Lift AI One was created with that future in mind. Kings III shares that vision and has built a reputation around delivering peace of mind and exceptional service. We believe they are uniquely positioned to continue advancing the technology and bring its capabilities to a broader audience.”

Kings III has continued to expand beyond emergency communications and invest in technologies that provide greater visibility into elevator operations. Coupled with the 2025 acquisition of LiftNet, the addition of these new capabilities represents another step toward a more connected approach to vertical transportation, bringing together communications, connectivity, telemetry, and intelligent diagnostics to help customers and partners better understand, manage, and maintain one of their most critical building systems.
