When I find a comfy shoe brand I like, I admittedly start to get a little greedy, asking for more styles, more support and more useful features with each pair I buy. With sandals especially, I need them to do a lot of work. I want them to look cute while allowing me to run around on vacation without having to slow down because of blisters or aches.
In my 40s, there are certainly a few go-to brands in my rotation that provide both practicality, comfort and, of course, a fashion moment. These are namely Aerosoles, Clarks and Easy Spirit. The latter of those three has a pair at Kohl’s right now that I’m honestly kind of obsessed with—they’re like a little hug for your feet but in sandal form.

Easy Spirit’s Witney Women’s Wedge Sandals are the kind of shoes you throw on when you know you’ll be on your feet for a while and don’t want to think about your footwear all day. They’re super lightweight, with a breathable upper thanks the perforated material of the straps.
At this point in my life, built-in arch support is a necessity, but the cushioned footbed here makes the sandals feel more comfortable for longer wear, while the flexible outsole moves with you instead of feeling stiff. They also have a zipper closure, which means less time messing with straps and more time getting out the door. With a low platform and slight heel, they give you just a little lift without sacrificing that easy, everyday feel.

Easy Spirit’s Witney sandals come in three colorways—light natural, black and navy. Kohl’s shopper reviews are exceedingly positive, regardless of which hue you choose.
“Witney sandals are comfy right out of the box,” says a customer in the title of their review before going on to share more details. “The Witney sandals are very comfortable. I have minor plantar fasciitis and they don’t cause any discomfort. I wore them all day on vacation. Sizing is accurate. I am breaking them in for travel and no break in time was needed.”
