M2G Ventures, a real estate investment firm based in Texas, has announced the launch of a new hospitality division. This initiative aims to expand the company’s portfolio to include hotel properties, complementing its existing focus on industrial and mixed-use assets. Chris Hanrattie has been appointed as Managing Director, Head of Hospitality, to lead this new venture.

The company plans to target full-service and select-service hotels located in high-growth or emerging markets. The strategy involves implementing value-add initiatives to enhance revenue per available room (RevPAR) and improve operational efficiencies. M2G Ventures aims to leverage its expertise in design and customer preferences to drive these improvements.

Chris Hanrattie, who previously held a senior position at Crescent Real Estate LLC, will oversee the sourcing, evaluation, and management of hospitality investments for M2G Ventures. His experience includes leading hospitality investment strategies, acquisitions, and dispositions.

M2G Ventures’ new hospitality division reflects the company’s recognition of growth opportunities within the hospitality sector, driven by changing guest expectations and industry transformations. The firm will continue its focus on acquiring underutilized assets and applying strategic enhancements to increase asset value.
