MGallery Signs Ink 48 Hotel in Manhattan

MGallery Collection has signed Ink 48, a 222-room hotel in Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood overlooking the Hudson River. The property will continue operating independently during a renovation and enhancement program before reopening under the MGallery Collection banner in 2028.

The hotel is located on Manhattan’s West Side near the Hudson River, with Times Square, Hudson Yards and Broadway nearby. It has 222 guest rooms, including 17 suites, plus a rooftop bar, restaurant, meeting facilities and a fitness center.

Ink 48’s food and beverage outlets are Hudson Local, a ground-floor restaurant, and Hudson VU, a rooftop bar. The property also has approximately 6,000 square feet of meeting and event space across multiple venues.

The planned renovation will add MGallery brand elements and design changes while retaining the property’s existing operations during the transition. Once the work is completed, the hotel will operate as Ink 48 New York City – MGallery Collection.

Rebel Hotel Company will manage the hotel following its conversion to MGallery Collection. The property will serve as MGallery’s U.S. flagship hotel.

Capstone Equities is partnering with Accor on the conversion. The transaction had been under development for some time.

MGallery has more than 125 hotels globally and more than 60 projects in development. The company has nine openings planned before the end of 2026, including Kove Hotel & Spa Mykonos – MGallery Collection; Bel Hôtel Oléron Thalasso & Spa – MGallery Collection; V Villas Maldives at Mirihi – MGallery Collection; and Nirema Hotel & Spa Samos – MGallery Collection.
