Fans of Mountain Dew soda have the chance to try the iconic drink in a brand-new form thanks to the brand’s collaboration with Kwik Trip. Mountain Dew and Kwik Trip just released a new Mountain Dew Dunker donut, combining The Kwikery Bake Shop’s classic donut and the soda’s ultra-recognizable citrus flavor.
The sweet treat is available at Kwik Trip locations while supplies last, as reported by WXOW. Micah Rupprecht, director of category management – food service at Kwik Trip, said of the collaboration, “Kwik Trip guests expect us to continue to innovate with our signature products, and partnering with Mountain Dew allows us to push the boundaries of what a donut can be.”
“The creation of Mountain Dew Dunkers does exactly that. It’s fresh, fun, and perfectly encompasses both brands,” he went on.
To make things even better, the partnership includes the Mountain Dew Kwik Climb summer sweepstakes program. Kwik Trip loyalty members can participate in the sweepstakes in the Kwik Rewards app. Prizes include Mountain Dew Dunkers, PepsiCo products, $1,000 giveaways every day, and weekly giveaways between $10,000 and $250,000.

“Any and all, these things are addictive,” wrote a third, as a different endorsement read, “These might actually be the best donuts I have ever had, good job mountain dew and kwik trip.”
But some felt like they were a miss. One such fan said, “They taste really bad,” while another chimed in, saying, “I refuse on the grounds of this sounding weird.”
