Authorities are continuing to investigate Nancy Guthrie’s case—and according to the Pima County Sheriff’s department, home security footage could still play an important role in determining exactly what happened.
According to Fox News Digital’s Mike Ruiz, officials revealed that investigators are “not done” reviewing the footage as the investigation remains ongoing.
Per Ruiz, “forensic analysis is still underway” when it comes to home security footage obtained from Guthrie’s home. Ruiz reports that the same holds true for the DNA evidence found inside the home that was sent over to the FBI last month.

Guthrie, 84, has been missing since Sunday, Feb. 1. Investigators believe that she was abducted from her Arizona home in the middle of the night. No suspects or persons of interest have been publicly named by the sheriff’s department or the FBI and both agencies have asked that anyone with information come forward.
The Guthrie case has certainly fizzled out when it comes to coverage by the mainstream media, but the sheriff’s department maintains that the investigation is still active and the case has not gone cold.
Earlier this month, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos sent a message to the Guthrie family during an interview with KGUN-TV.
“They just need to know that we’re not giving up,” he said
