Which streaming services are Canadians using the most?

Before we go over costs, you may be interested in which services are most popular among Canadians, and the results might surprise you. 

JustWatch, a popular streaming guide, has over 60 million monthly users and according to its most recent SVOD Market Shares report for Canada, Netflix actually shares the top spot as the most used service with another brand. 

The recent report shows the top streaming platforms in Canada between January and June 2026, based on more than 5 million streaming interactions on JustWatch’s app and website.

Netflix and Prime Video are tied for first place, holding 22 per cent of the market. 

Disney+ is not far behind at 20 percent, followed by Crave at 13 per cent, Apple TV at 10 per cent, Paramount+ at 7 per cent, Hayu at 2 per cent and “Other” at 4 per cent.
