New 140-Room Tapestry Collection by Hilton Hotel at Horseshoe Indianapolis to Open Spring 2028

HCW plans to build a 140-room Tapestry Collection by Hilton hotel adjacent to Horseshoe Indianapolis in Shelbyville, Indiana, with construction scheduled to begin in fall 2026 and an opening anticipated in spring 2028.

The five-story, 109,324-square-foot hotel will include 140 guest rooms, including suites, king rooms and double queen accommodations.

The property will include a resort-style infinity pool overlooking the water, with poolside seating and views of the surrounding setting. An integrated restaurant and bar will include outdoor poolside seating and dining. The hotel will also have a fitness center.

Meeting facilities will include two meeting rooms totaling 1,648 square feet of flexible space for meetings, celebrations and group gatherings.

The hotel will be located directly adjacent to Horseshoe Indianapolis – Shelbyville Casino & Horse Racing by Caesars Entertainment. The development is intended to provide lodging for destination visitors and support group and leisure travel in the Shelbyville area.

Horseshoe Indianapolis has approximately 106,000 square feet of casino space, 1,480 gaming machines, 80 table games, a sportsbook, 22,000 square feet of meeting space and a live racetrack. The destination hosts live Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse racing throughout the year and is home to the Indiana Derby, a Grade 3 Thoroughbred race.

The hotel will operate under the Tapestry Collection by Hilton brand. Guests will have access to Hilton Honors, Hilton’s loyalty program. Its location will provide access to Horseshoe Indianapolis gaming, racing, dining, entertainment and event offerings.
