Orlando World Center Marriott has completed a renovation of its Grand Ballroom and meeting spaces, introducing updated design elements and enhanced amenities.
Orlando World Center Marriott has completed a comprehensive renovation of its Grand Ballroom, now featuring updated design elements and enhanced functionality for event planners and attendees. The Grand Ballroom spans more than 36,000 square feet and offers 14 configurable spaces for flexible event setups. Renovation details include new carpet, wall coverings, airwall coverings, entry doors, trim, and contemporary chandeliers, along with upgraded lighting and sound systems.
The renovation extends to other areas of the convention center, with new and additional furnishings throughout the foyers, including communal and soft seating to expand work and networking spaces. Public restrooms have been modernized. Three large-scale digital boards have been installed in key areas of the convention space to support branding and sponsorship opportunities, supplementing the existing digital boards at the entrance and porte-cochere.
The renovated spaces feature a modern aesthetic with gray and blue tones and energy-efficient LED lighting. Orlando World Center Marriott offers more than 500,000 square feet of flexible function space, including boardrooms and a 105,000-square-foot pillar-free ballroom.
Guest accommodations include hard-surface flooring, expansive workstations with ample outlets, walk-in showers, in-room refrigerators, high-speed Wi-Fi, and private balconies with views of the 200-acre resort and Walt Disney World. The resort features 10 dining outlets, a 400,000-gallon lagoon pool, seven waterslides, a kids’ splash zone, and a 575-foot lazy river.
