Daniel Shamoon and Orange Limited, owned by Albert Hartog, have formed a joint venture to develop a boutique resort within the Pearns Point development on Antigua’s western peninsula.
The resort is planned for a 160-acre peninsula overlooking the Caribbean Sea and will be integrated into the existing Pearns Point development. Plans call for 20 single-story suites, 20 two-bedroom villas and 36 three- and four-bedroom villas for purchase. The villas for purchase are planned to range from $3 million to $6 million.
Resort guests and Pearns Point owners are expected to have access to a beach club accessible by boat, a restaurant supplied by an organic farm, a racquet club, an ocean-view spa and fitness center, and a watersports hub. The plans also provide for public beach access while addressing privacy for Pearns Point owners, residents and resort guests.
Pearns Point currently offers beachfront, oceanfront and elevated homesites priced from $2 million. Turnkey residences are available from $4 million, while finished homes are available from $20 million. The development has sold 26 lots totaling $50 million.
Orange Limited and Shamoon also plan to develop two residences designed by James Hamilton Architects. The residences are intended to demonstrate architectural design, indoor-outdoor living and connection to the landscape at Pearns Point.
Pearns Point is located outside Jolly Harbour and is approximately 35 minutes from Antigua’s V.C. Bird International Airport. The airport offers nonstop service from New York, Miami, London and other international gateways.
