If this recent snow dump wasn’t enough winter action for you, this next part undoubtedly will be. APIK MISSISSAUGA is coming back for another thrilling weekend, transforming the city’s Celebration Square into an urban winter wonderland with a massive ski hill right in the middle of it.
Head to Mississauga on Jan. 30 to Feb. 1, 2026, for some winter magic featuring top-class ski and snowboard competitions, bumpin’ DJ sets and after-parties.
“Three days of energy, style, and progression right in the heart of the city,” shares the team. “We’re getting ready to make APIK Mississauga 2026 one for the books.”
Think of APIK as the ultimate winter celebration and competition, where more than 80 pro athletes will compete for a $100,000 prize. They’ll be judged on the quality and style of their tricks and descents. And you can join in on the fun, cheer them on and witness extreme skiing and snowboarding right in the middle of the city.
“Each competition runs in a jam format, meaning riders take turns dropping in for 60 minutes of non-stop creativity and progression,” adds organizers. “The course stays alive the entire time, giving the crowd a front-row seat to all the biggest sends, smoothest lines, and wildest moments.”
What’s the schedule?
On the first day, expect to see both the snowskate and skate best tricks show off, while Saturday will see the Ski Competition (qualifiers + finals at the end of the day) and Best Trick session. On the final day, the Snowboard Competition will take place (qualifiers + finals at the end of the day) and the Best Trick session after the finals, before the podium.
What else can I expect at APIK?
After all that cheering, you’ll probably get a little hungry. Expect food trucks to keep you fed throughout the weekend. If you’re looking to do some shopping, head over to the pop-up village to see what they have to offer.
Last year’s debut drew more than 30,000 attendees, according to the City of Mississauga, so expect this year to be even bigger.
Oh, and it’s absolutely free to attend. What’s better than that?
