Road to Revenge’ Sets Netflix Streaming Date

He’s back, he’s bloodier than ever, and he’s still refusing to die. Sisu: Road to Revenge, the high-octane sequel to the 2023 cult hit, is making its way to Netflix US later this month. We can confirm that Sisu: Road to Revenge (2025) will be available to stream on Netflix US (and other select regions) starting Saturday, March 21st, 2026.

The arrival of the Sisu sequel on Netflix is part of the ongoing “Pay-1” window agreement with Sony Pictures. Following its theatrical debut on November 21st, 2025, the film has completed its initial run and home media window, moving onto Netflix as its exclusive streaming home for the next 18 months. The addition is in the US, with other regions like India and select European territories also expected to pick up the movie in the near future. As with all other Sony movies (for the moment), the movie won’t be available if you subscribe to Netflix’s ad-supported tier.

While the first film was a sleeper hit for Lionsgate, the sequel saw Sony’s Screen Gems and Stage 6 Films take the reins, resulting in a bigger budget and even more ambitious action set pieces, although the movie did underperform in theaters, grossing just shy of $10 million on its $12.2M budget likely meaning the franchise is now on ice.

What is Sisu: Road to Revenge About?

Set in 1946, one year after the events of the first film, the sequel finds legendary ex-commando Aatami Korpi (Jorma Tommila) attempting to find peace. He returns to his old family home in Soviet-occupied Karelia, intending to dismantle the house and move it across the border to rebuild in safety.

However, the past refuses to stay buried. He is soon hunted by Igor Draganov (Stephen Lang), a ruthless Red Army officer with a personal connection to Aatami’s tragic past. What follows is a relentless, cross-country chase that trades the Lapland wilderness for the war-torn borderlands, featuring tanks, planes, and the kind of “lo-fi” tactical brilliance that made the first movie a sensation.

The Cast

Jorma Tommila returns to his iconic near-silent role, joined by a formidable new antagonist:

  • Jorma Tommila as Aatami Korpi.
  • Stephen Lang (Avatar, Don’t Breathe) as Igor Draganov.
  • Richard Brake (Barbarian) as a high-ranking KGB officer.
  • Tommi Korpela returning in a new capacity.

Why It’s a Must-Watch

If you loved the first Sisu for its “show, don’t tell” storytelling and creative kills, Road to Revenge will not disappoint. Director Jalmari Helander pushes the absurdity to an 11 this time around—think ballistic missiles used as boosters and a one-man army taking on a literal bomber plane. It currently holds a 94% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, matching the score of its predecessor.

Will you be witnessing Aatami’s latest rampage on March 21st? Let us know if you think the Soviets stand a chance in the comments! For more on what’s coming to Netflix throughout March 2026, keep it locked here on What’s on Netflix.
