São Paulo’s hotel industry achieved its highest March average daily rate (ADR) and revenue per available room (RevPAR) on record, according to preliminary data from CoStar.
In March 2026, occupancy reached 67.8%, up 13% year over year. ADR rose 7.4% to BRL 871.48, and RevPAR increased 21.3% to BRL 590.79.
Design Week, held March 5-15, drove peak performance across all metrics on Wednesday, March 11, with occupancy at 88.9%, ADR at BRL 1,041.59, and RevPAR at BRL 926.37.
Additional events in March included Capacity LATAM, the ST Alphe Brazil education and student-travel conference, and the WST Skateboarding World Championship. On the fourth night of the WST championship, Wednesday, March 4, ADR reached BRL 921.72, RevPAR was BRL 796.06, and occupancy stood at 86.4%.
