Singer Lisa Loeb, 58, Hits the Red Carpet and Looks Like She Hasn’t Aged a Day Since Her 1994 Hit ‘Stay'

14 May 20262 Mins Read

Lisa Loeb may have skyrocketed to fame in the ’90s, but the beloved singer and songwriter has barely aged a day in the last few decades.

Loeb, 58, rose to stardom in 1994 with her hit song, “Stay (I Missed You).” The tune, which was featured in the classic ’90s flick Reality Bites, jumped to become a number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100, all while Loeb wasn’t even signed to a recording contract. She followed up that groundbreaking hit with classics like “Do You Sleep?” and “I Do,” and even released a children’s album, That’s What It’s All About, alongside the band The Hollow Trees in 2024. Still regularly on tour, Loeb has no intention of slowing down anytime soon.

Flash forward to 2026, and Loeb hit the red carpet on Wednesday evening at the 2026 BMI Film, TV & Visual Media Awards at Beverly Wilshire, a Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. Sporting those trademark cat’s eye glasses, the stunning singer has barely changed in the 32 years since her classic hit “Stay” first debuted.

Loeb Wasn’t Signed to a Major Label When ‘Stay’ Came Out

Earlier this month, Loeb sat down and discussed how she didn’t even have a deal with a major record label when “Stay” came out.

“I had done a demo deal with somebody at one of the labels, and that song, when it went to number one, as it was climbing the charts, all the different A&R people and record labels, sort of the younger, up and coming A&R people, who were the people that were interested, finally their bosses were listening to them,” Loeb shared.

Ultimately, she signed a record deal with Geffen Records when her song was number one on the charts.

“Literally that week,” Loeb shared.
