The Best Western Houston Bush IAH Intercontinental Airport Inn is located at 18032 McKay Drive in Humble. Built in 2008, the hotel was purchased by San Antonio-based TAK Hospitality from Conroe-based Nataraja.
Yash Patel, owner of Nataraja, said this was his first hotel sale and that he had worked with James Rebullida for several years before selecting him to represent Nataraja. Concerns arose near closing, and Rebullida remained involved in negotiating final transaction details.
Rebullida, senior vice president of HVS Brokerage & Advisory, said the sale closed ahead of the contractual deadline. The transaction faced headwinds during the second quarter, and a complex issue developed late in the process.
The hotel is located off Will Clayton Parkway, west of Interstate 69, less than three miles from George Bush Intercontinental Airport. The surrounding area includes nearly $130 million in approved funding for airport enhancements, including United Airlines’ new $200 million maintenance facility.
Other nearby locations include Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital, Halliburton, GE Oil & Gas, Deerbrook Mall and the Parc Air 59 mixed-use industrial park.
Eric Guerrero, James Rebullida, Fadi Rawashdeh, Kyle Peterek and Daneen Godinet of HVS Brokerage & Advisory participated in the transaction. Rav Singh of Keller Williams represented the buyer.
