The Harborvale, Autograph Collection has opened on the shores of Lake Champlain in Burlington, Vermont, as a 161-room lakeside retreat and part of Marriott Bonvoy’s Autograph Collection. Developed by Westport Hospitality and the team behind Hotel Vermont, the property is now welcoming guests.

The hotel features more than 3,000 square feet of event space across three venues, with floor-to-ceiling windows and an outdoor terrace, accommodating meetings, celebrations, and gatherings of up to 125 guests.

Dining is led by Executive Chef Doug Paine, with an on-site restaurant offering café service, breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and an evening bar seven days a week. The menu follows a “timeless American” concept, rooted in classic technique and seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.

The Great Room, a central gathering space with a lake-facing bar, hosts afternoon tea, fireside storytelling pop-ups, acoustic sets by local musicians, and daily sunset toasts with weather-inspired cocktails.

Amenities include an indoor pool, fitness center, and regular community programming such as daily sunset toasts and learn-to-sail packages. The property is dog-friendly and provides both valet and on-site self-parking.

The Harborvale collaborates with local institutions, including the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum, the Community Sailing Center, and the Lake Champlain Basin Program, to offer exclusive packages, programming, and installations.

Located near the Burlington Greenway, the hotel offers opportunities for scenic walks or runs, as well as curated picnic baskets for waterfront outings.
