Due to doubling up on episodes, we’re already a third of the way into The Traitors: New Blood. And the newest season of the Emmy-winning reality show has proven that the “civilians” can bring it just as much as the celebrities in that castle. Over four episodes, we’ve seen big personalities, new twists, and a few accusations of being too sweaty. Unfortunately, we’ll be the ones sweating out what will happen next, as the show is taking a week off.
Here’s the reason why The Traitors: New Blood isn’t on tonight, and when the next episode is.

Is The Traitors on tonight?
No! The Traitors: New Blood is taking the week off, and there will be no new episode on Thursday, Oct. 1.
Why is The Traitors not on tonight?
While some reality TV fans may compare watching shows like The Traitors to sports, the show is taking a backseat this week to sports proper. With NBC acquiring the rights to postseason baseball, they blocked out their programming this week for coverage of the MLB wildcard games. Unfortunately, that means many shows like The Traitors: New Blood had to put things off a week.
The irony, of course, is that with the New York Yankees defeating the Boston Red Sox in two games, there actually is no longer an 8:00 game on the schedule. However, NBC will air a New Blood rerun instead, electing to still save the new episode for next week.
