‘The Unreachable Village’ quest walkthrough in Crimson Desert

24 March 20264 Mins Read

Finding the unreachable village in Crimson Desert is no mean feat, as the local fairy-like kids known as the Shai would rather drag your unconscious body through the forest than admit entry. Luckily, one of them will let you enter their mysterious village if you grant them a favor; to retrieve the Relic of Pororin from the “big oaf” who’s stolen it.

Here’s how to trigger “The Unreachable Village” quest and how to obtain the Relic of Pororin in Crimson Desert.

How to find Pororin, the Unreachable Village, in Crimson Desert

To start “The Unreachable Village” quest in Crimson Desert, you must approach Pororin’s approximate location, which, as seen on an unexplored map, is just south of the Goldleaf Guildhouse:

If you see colorful floating flower pots, you’ll know you’re close by.

Once there, the Shai will knock you unconscious, drag you away from the village, and leave you behind, but don’t let that put you off; approach Pororin two more times. After you’ve regained consciousness the third time, a Shai called Arkin will call you over from a nearby tree. If you help her, she’ll grant you access to the mysterious village.

Go to Arkin’s next location to continue “The Unreachable Village,” which is much further east, just across the Demeniss border. She’s waiting on a lower cliff in the Trembling Gorge. While traveling east, don’t get too close to Pororin or you’ll get knocked unconscious again.

How to retrieve the Relic of Pororin in Crimson Desert

Arkin will ask you to retrieve the Relic of Pororin from a “stubborn oaf.” The only other hint you’ll get is that this mystery creature is “really tall and passes through here all the time.” It’s an important remark, though, as it explains why you won’t find anything if you simply visit the quest marker; the person who carries the Relic of Pororin isn’t stationary.

In fact, he’s a walking tree; an Ent, if you will. You can wait for him at the quest marker location, but it’s faster and arguably more fun to track his route; he circles the Trembling Gorge in a clockwise direction. The picture below shows a rough sketch of this route. If you go counterclockwise, following the broken tree trunks that mark his path, you’ll find him.

To get the Relic of Pororin from the Ent, you must climb on top of his head. You can either literally climb them, glide from a nearby cliff, or use an upgraded Axiom Force to leap to the top.

Once you’ve got the Relic of Pororin, return to Arkin (same location as before) to complete “The Unreachable Village.” From now on, you can visit Crimson Desert‘s village of Pororin anytime you like.

Just starting out in Crimson Desert? We have guides to help you learn the basics and refresh your memory on how some of its systems work. The world of Pywel is huge, so you might have a hard time deciding where to go first, but you can make your journey a little easier with the help of our interactive map. Along the way, make sure to learn a few life skills like fishing, logging, cooking, and mining, all of which can help you make money.

We also have walkthroughs for puzzles in the Abyss like the Root’s End and Precipice of Truth, as well as ancient ruins like the Dragon’s Stone Chamber.
