This charming wilderness lodge getaway in Alberta with all-inclusive gourmet meals

23 March 20263 Mins Read

This Alberta lodging offers more than just scenic mountain views.

Mount Engadine Lodge is a secluded lodge and glamping resort located between the beautiful mountains of Kananaskis, Alberta. With many different types of accommodations and an all-inclusive meal plan for those staying overnight, it’s the best place with the best deal. Not to mention, you’re directly in the middle of the Alberta wilderness, just ready to be explored.

Are you ready to immerse yourself in the mountains? We sure are.

What to expect

To start, there are many types of accommodations to choose from when staying at Mount Engadine.

You can stay in the lodge itself, which offers private balconies and fireplaces, as well as convenient access to the restaurant, wifi, and other amenities. If you’re looking to blend alpine charm and privacy, or are travelling with a pet, the mountain cabins might be more your speed. Or, to get even more immersed in the wild, you could stay in one of their glamping tents or camping yurts.

Speaking of wifi, it’s only available in the main lodge and lodge rooms. The lodge itself recommends you unplug and take in the fresh air for the best experience.

If you’re in need of something to do, the lodge offers supply rentals for those looking to get out there. Whether it’s supplies for hiking, paddle-boarding, e-biking, or something else, they most likely have it.

As for meals to fuel you, you’ll be happily surprised to find out that its all-inclusive culinary program features a hearty two-course breakfast, a bagged lunch to take on your adventures, a popular afternoon tea service with charcuterie and strudel, and a delicious three-course plated dinner. To pair, you can sip something from their wine list or cocktail menu, or enjoy a different beverage.

Stays at this lodge are over $400 for two guests in one room, with pricing fluctuating based on people, lodging, and more.

All in all, this lodge has everything you could ever need, right in between the vast mountains of Alberta. This escape is going to be one you’ll be talking about for ages.

Address: 1 Mount Shark Rd., Canmore, Alta.
