This Is Officially The World’s Best Pizza, According To , Canada Reviews

5 February 20263 Mins Read

There are two kinds of people in the world: people who love pizza, and people who lie. But even though we can all agree that a slice of cheesy, doughy goodness is pretty much as delicious as food can get, pizzas come in a smorgasbord of varieties from all corners of the world.

That’s why we called on our international network of writers and editors to sample a slice (or several) of the top pizzas in their city, and let us know which are the tastiest.

The freshly baked ranking of the world’s best pizzas includes the pizza capricciosa from 180grammi Pizzeria Romana in (you guessed it) Rome, the SRP marinara from Short Road Pizza in London, and obviously a margherita from Pizzeria da Attilio in the motherland, Naples. However, one pizzeria’s creation topped them all.

The winner of the world’s best pizza for 2026 is in New York – duh. Buried deep beneath a generous dollop of mascarpone, blobs of aged mozzarella, and a hearty grating of both pecorino romano and parmigiano reggiano is the Cacio e Pepe slice from Mama’s Too in Manhattan.

The restaurant has two outposts – one in the West Village, the other on the Upper West Side – and while it rustles up other intriguing pies like the Angry Nonna (think hot soppressata, calabrian chili oil, and hot honey), and the Bufalini (topped with beer-battered fried chicken), it was this cheesy ‘snowstorm’ that persuaded New York food and drink editor Morgan Carter.

‘I ventured up to Mama’s Too last summer … and I was soon tempted by a square that was quite literally hidden under a snowstorm of pecorino and Parmigiano Reggiano shreds,’ she writes. ‘One quick melt in the oven later, and all the flavors sang in perfect harmony – creamy and light mascarpone, a bit of funk from the aged mozzarella and all the tangy, stretchy cheesiness I could ever ask for.’

Drooling? Same. Feast your eyes on all our favourite pizza places in New York City, before clicking below to scroll through the full list.

🍕 These are the best pizzas in the world right now, according to writers who’ve tasted them all.

Did you see that this is Europe’s most romantic city for a Valentine’s break this year, according to ?
