This Rec Room location in Edmonton is offering 10 free games over the weekend

17 September 20263 Mins Read

The Rec Room is hosting a huge celebration for the 10th anniversary of its South Edmonton Common location, including all-day happy hour, live music, and 10 free games for every guest who visits.

If you aren’t already familiar, The Rec Room calls itself the “ultimate social playground” in Canada. With arcade staples like Pac-Man and carnival classics like skee ball, this spot acts as a huge arcade, alongside a functioning restaurant, bar, and live entertainment venue.

The South Edmonton Common is pulling out all the stops to celebrate a decade of business in the city. If you’re ready to make the most of this upcoming weekend, we’ve got all the details about this fun, free event.

What to expect from The Rec Room’s 10th Anniversary Party

From open to close on Saturday, Sept. 19, there’s going to be so much to explore and enjoy.

The full outlined schedule is as follows:

  • DJs spinning in Three10 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Complimentary balloon twisting from noon to 4 p.m.
  • Free cupcake giveaway (while supplies last) at 1 p.m.
  • More live music in Three10 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Free concert in The Hall at 8 p.m.

During your time at The Rec Room on Saturday, you can also take advantage of the 10 free games each guest will get for the 10th anniversary celebration. There are loads of games to choose from at this location, ranging from new games you’ve never seen before to arcade classics.

If you’re looking for even more fun, you can check out all the additional recreational games available at The Rec Room locations across Canada online.

In addition to 10 free games, its happy hour menu (affectionately known as “‘appy hour”) will be running all day long. This means drinks starting at $5 and food dishes starting at $10, including options like truffle fries, corn ribs, and buffalo chicken bites.

Whether you’re heading out for a date night or a family activity, you’ll definitely want to take advantage of these deals during the weekend. Mark your calendars for Saturday, because this upcoming celebration is one you’ll definitely want to check out.
