This unique Ontario farm tour now has ‘cafe-style’ bunny cuddling just minutes from Niagara Falls, Canada Reviews

24 July 20262 Mins Read

One of Ontario’s most unique farm tours just got, well, even more niche, with a brand-new area devoted to “cafe-style” bunny cuddling. Humberstone Ranch is nestled in Port Colborne, about 20 minutes from Niagara Falls or a 1.5-hour drive from Toronto.  In a recent Insta post, the owners invite guests to check out their new bunny area set up, “so you can enjoy bunnies on a picnic table, a bistro set, or cop a squat on the ground.”

The farm has 21 bunnies total, so you’re bound to find the best one to cuddle with on your tour!

Just to be clear, the bunny area isn’t actually a café. The ranch uses “cafe-style” to describe the setup (the bunnies have autonomy and aren’t stuck in cages). And the farm isn’t a petting zoo: it’s an animal experience where guests can spend time with and connect with the animals. The bunny hangout is the newest addition to Humberstone Ranch’s roughly one-hour guided farm visit, so it’s perfect for an up-close intro to life on a working ranch!

Guests are guided between the animal areas, where they can feed, observe and spend time with the animals while learning about their individual personalities.

And the bunnies have neighbours, too.

Along with full-grown rabbits and tiny Holland Lops, visitors can meet the ranch’s miniature goats, which enjoy gentle attention and the occasional snack, and its Kunekune pigs, which are apparently huge fans of scratches. Indian Runner ducks get involved during feeding time, while the miniature horses can be gently brushed and are especially popular for Insta photos. And then there are the lambs: they also love cuddles and, who knows, might even fall asleep on your foot!

Humberstone Ranch is located at 3212 Forks Rd. E. in Port Colborne. The farm tour is open to all ages and costs $20 per person. Groups can reach around 12 to 17 guests during peak season, while colder-weather visits are kept smaller and more intimate.

The ranch is open seven days a week, but reservations are required for all experiences (so don’t expect to just drop by for an impromptu bunny cuddle).
