Tillamook’s ‘Best Coffee-Flavored Ice Cream on the Market’ Is Back—and So Is a Cozy Holiday Favorite

Tillamook is bringing back a fan-favorite ice cream and officially introducing its first flavor of the holiday season, and a scoop of each together may make the perfect bite.

Ahead of National Coffee Day, which is observed on Tuesday, Sept. 29, the cult-favorite creamery is bringing back a related favorite. One that marries the bold flavor of espresso and the sweet, complex flavor of chocolate: its Espresso Chip Ice Cream.

And since coffee-flavored ice cream isn’t for everyone, Tillamook is also reviving its wintry Sugar Cookie Ice Cream, set to put consumers in a cozy, cheerful mood (even during this mildly warm transition from summer to fall).

Tillamook Brings Back Espresso Chip Ice Cream and Sugar Cookie-Inspired Holiday Flavor

Tillamook’s Espresso Chip Ice Cream debuted last year and quickly became a favorite (the brand suggested it sold out completely in only five months), so it knew it had to bring the flavor back this fall.

According to an official statement shared with Parade, this flavor is made with rich espresso ice cream and chocolate espresso beans that add an extra crunch and deliver true coffee flavors with “every irresistible bite.”

And the brand isn’t exaggerating in its description, as several fans have been begging for the “best coffee flavored ice cream on the market” to be added to its permanent lineup.

“Finally found this,” a second shared a few weeks ago. “Absolutely amazing.”

“Please make this a permanent flavor,” a third exclaimed. “This was so good!!!”

A different reviewer described it as a “rich, caffeinated” option and everything they would expect from Tillamook.

“Make permanent!!!” one more demanded, going so far as to call it, “One of the best flavors to date!!!” (My husband and i have tried every single one!).”

As for Tillamook’s Sugar Cookie Ice Cream, it first debuted a few years back under a different name (Holiday Sugar Cookie) and has been offered several times since, with fans hunting it down season after season and calling it “really tasty.”

The festive flavor starts with a base of creamy cookie dough ice cream that’s stuffed with “delectable” sugar pieces and cookie dough bites.

“This is the best ice cream I’ve ever had,” one fan wrote online, joking that they’ve been “buying out the store.”

“I just [discovered] this flavor & i never want it to go away,” a third shared. “It’s absolutely perfect i love everything about it.”
