Toronto’s getting a free spring festival with a market and delicious eats

23 February 20262 Mins Read

It’s safe to say we’re all ready for the spring season, and Toronto’s popular shipping container market is too! Stackt Market is getting ready for its annual Spring Equinox celebration, and here’s what you need to know.

Set your reminders for March 17 to 22, 2026, for the annual Spring Equinox celebration. This free festival marks the official start of spring with events and experiences happening all week long.

What to expect

Just as the spring season tends to do, this festival is “rooted in renewal, balance, and new beginnings,” according to Stackt Market.

Though its full programming has yet to be revealed, Stackt Market has teased what will be offered. Visitors can expect family-friendly wellness and meditation sessions, vendor markets, spring food and drink experiences, and more.

“The festival is free to attend and designed as a flexible, drop-in option for families and visitors looking for March Break activities in Toronto,” shares organizers.

Some of these workshops may require advance registration. Please keep an eye on the Stackt Market website for more details.

“Whether you’re stopping by with kids or carving out time for yourself, Spring Equinox invites you to slow down, be mindful, and welcome the new season ahead.”

Now you at least have something to look forward to this spring season.

When: March 17 to 22, 2026
Time: Noon to 10 p.m.
Where: Stackt Market — 28 Bathurst St.
Cost: Free
