Vanessa Trump Shares Heartbreaking Cancer Diagnosis

Vanessa Trump took to Instagram on Wednesday, May 20, to share a heartbreaking health update, revealing that she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

“I want to share a personal health update,” she began. “I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan. I would like to thank my doctors for performing a procedure earlier this week on me. I am staying focused and hopefully while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me.

“Thank you for your kindness and support it truly means more than I can express. I kindly ask for privacy as I focus on my health and recovery.”

Following the post, many shared heartfelt comments, flooding Trump with support and love during this challenging time.

“Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery. Love you mama,” her friend and former sister-in-law, Ivanka Trump, commented.

“Just wanted to send you a big hug and remind you how loved you are. You are a beautiful, kind, fun soul and an amazing mom. Trump’s announcement comes after her boyfriend, golf legend Tiger Woods, finished a rehabilitation program after being charged with driving under the influence due to a car crash near his home in Florida on March 27. Throughout it all, she has remained by his side, supporting him, with a source telling PEOPLE shortly after the crash that the two are “in love” and she is “very supportive of his golf endeavours because, despite his age and injuries, golf dominates Tiger’s life.”
