Victoria Day 2026: Where to catch fireworks in Ontario

With Victoria Day 2026 just around the corner, many people in Ontario will be wondering where they can catch a colourful fireworks display to cap off the long weekend.

The good news is that fireworks celebrations are set to take place across the province, so those in major cities or anyone planning a road trip over the holiday weekend will likely be able to find a show nearby.

Here’s where you can watch Victoria Day 2026 fireworks across Ontario:

Canada’s Wonderland

End the day at the amusement park with a vibrant fireworks display lighting up the night sky.

When: May 17 at 10 p.m.
Where: 1 Canada’s Wonderland Dr., Vaughan, Ont.

Niagara Falls

The annual fireworks display at Ontario’s biggest tourist attraction, Niagara Falls, kicks off over the long weekend in celebration of Victoria Day 2026.

When: May 18 at 10 p.m.
Where: Niagara Falls, Ont.

Vaughan Ribfest

Anyone attending this year’s Ribfest can enjoy delicious ribs alongside a celebratory Victoria Day fireworks display.

When: May 17 at 10 p.m.
Where: Assembly Park, 80 Interchange Way, Vaughan, Ont.

Nobleton Victoria Day Parade

The community of Nobleton is gearing up for its annual parade, followed by fireworks at dusk.

When: May 18 at dusk
Where: Dr. William Laceby Community Centre and Arena, 15 Old King Rd., Nobleton, Ont.

Stouffville

The town of Stouffville is preparing to host its annual Victoria Day celebration at Memorial Park, with fireworks set to close out the evening.

When: May 15 at dusk
Where: Memorial Park, 2 Park Dr., Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ont.

Caledonia Victoria Day Celebration

Caledonia’s Victoria Day festivities will feature a full midway experience, complete with a fireworks display for everyone attending.

When: May 17 at 9:15 p.m.
Where: Caledonia Fairgrounds, 151 Caithness St. E., Caledonia, Ont.

Welland

The City of Welland will host an evening of activities and entertainment, capped off with a dazzling fireworks display, as part of its National Public Works Week.

Kingston

The City of Kingston is kicking off its summer events season with Victoria Day celebrations, complete with an illuminating fireworks show downtown.

When: May 18 at 10 p.m.
