When will Season 4 of ‘Sullivan’s Crossing’ be on Netflix?

Netflix is now the streaming home to the early seasons of Sullivan’s Crossing across much of the globe, and the good news is that more is on the way. The bad news is that you’re going to have to wait a little while longer before season 4 hits your screens, at least on Netflix, that’s if the license is even extended to Netflix at all.

While initially exclusive to Netflix in the US and Canada, the great news is that Sullivan’s Crossing has since seen a massive international rollout. As of early 2026, the series is now streaming in most countries around the globe! Following Canada’s addition in April 2025 and the US picking up the show shortly after, the UK added the series in October 2025. This was recently followed by a major global rollout throughout February 2026, bringing the show to regions like Argentina, Belgium, Colombia, Germany, India, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, Spain, and many more. Depending on where you live, you’ll have access to all three seasons, while a few regions currently stream just the first one or two.

Since its arrival on Netflix in the US, the show has been a massive viewership hit. Not only did Season 1 pick up over 5 million views, but the most recent third season debuted at #3 on the Netflix Global English TV Top 10 list, remaining in the Top 10 for three weeks. The show has also been a massive linear hit, becoming a top 5 CW original linear series in all key demos and the #1 program on CW digital platforms in 2025.

In case you didn’t know, season 4 of the show was picked up by CTV, the Canadian broadcaster behind the show, in June 2025, with The CW announcing they had acquired the broadcast rights for the fourth season several weeks later.

Unlike seasons 1-3, of course, season 4 has yet to air. Filming took place in Halifax, in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia, wrapping in late 2025. Roma Roth continues her showrunning duties in season 4, alongside an extensive executive producing team that includes author Robyn Carr.

The wait for an exact premiere date is finally over. The CW has officially announced that the highly-anticipated ten-episode fourth season will premiere on Monday, April 20, 2026 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT).

We also have a brand new synopsis for the upcoming season, hinting at some major drama for Maggie (Morgan Kohan) and Cal (Chad Michael Murray). According to The CW:

“In Season 4, Maggie Sullivan’s life at the Crossing is finally taking shape having decided on a new direction for her career and a renewed commitment to Cal. That is, until Maggie’s ex-husband, Liam (Marcus Rosner), arrives with a shocking revelation which only upends Maggie’s life once again and causes Cal to question whether Maggie will ever truly be able to leave her past behind.”

Speculating based on the fact that Netflix has not yet confirmed it’ll be carrying season 4 after its broadcast run, we suspect the show will indeed make its way over after it concludes its ten-episode run on The CW, akin to how their old output deal with Netflix worked. Because the show begins airing in late April, its finale will broadcast around late June. If it’s anything like season 3, we’ll be waiting a few months after the season finale premieres, which would place a Netflix release around late Summer or early Fall 2026. Global regions will likely follow suit shortly after.

Should Netflix not pick up the rights to season 4, for which there’s no indication that they won’t, the streamer holds onto the show until at least August 2027.

We’ll keep you posted on any big updates regarding Sullivan’s Crossing as soon as we get them.

While you’re waiting, there are lots of adjacent shows currently streaming on Netflix. Of course, the biggest one is Virgin River, soon to be returning for season 7, given that it’s based on source material that comes from the same writer as Sullivan’s Crossing. Then you’ve got other titles like Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings, Sweet Magnolias, Firefly Lane, Ransom Canyon, and plenty of other feel-good shows to keep you occupied.

Are you looking forward to season 4 of Sullivan’s Crossing coming to Netflix?
