On the surface, the announcement that Black Myth: Wukong’s music would be performed live in concert might have been a straightforward one. A big successful game with a fantastic soundtrack – performing that soundtrack live to its most adoring fans makes all the sense in the world. The success of those concerts represents more than that, though. It shows that the Black Myth series can and will continue to grow into a globally successful franchise. Not just because its games are beloved, but because those games can and will extend beyond the platforms on which they are played.
