Wyndham Names Interim CFO Following Departure of Michele Allen
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has appointed Kurt Albert as Interim Chief Financial Officer following the departure of Michele Allen.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts announced a change in its financial leadership with the departure of Michele Allen, who has served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer and Head of Strategy. Allen is leaving to pursue a new career opportunity outside the hotel industry. In her place, Kurt Albert, currently the company’s Treasurer and Head of Financial Partnerships & Planning, has been appointed as Interim Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately.
The company has stated its intention to conduct a comprehensive search for a permanent CFO, considering both internal and external candidates. To ensure a smooth transition, Allen will remain in an advisory role at Wyndham through the end of 2025.
Albert, who has been with the company for over 15 years, has held several leadership positions within the Treasury and Financial Planning & Analysis functions. He has been serving as Treasurer and Head of Financial Partnerships & Planning since May 2024.
The transition comes as Wyndham continues to focus on its strategic priorities and financial planning. The company has not specified a timeline for completing the search for a permanent CFO.
