Everything cool and crafty can be found at this art and craft fair in Edmonton.

Oddbird Art and Craft Fair is Edmonton’s “newest and chirpiest” arts and crafts fair, having been established in 2024. This season, it has its spring fair coming up at the beginning of May. For this market, its crash landing right in Old Strathcona, taking over the heart of Edmonton.

Come on down! You’ll never know what you’ll find.

What to expect

This spring fair will be held at the Old Strathcona Performing Arts Centre from May 8 to 10. During this weekend, you can expect the best craftsmanship from around the city under one roof.

As for the hours, they fluctuate depending on the day. It’s open 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. If you’re looking for the quietest hours to visit, meaning minimal traffic and more time to browse, Oddbird suggests coming on Sunday between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. or 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.

You can find the full list of vendors on the Oddbird fair’s website. This includes vendors which offer accessories and apparel, arts and illustrations, bath and fragrance products, ceramics, and so much more.

Looking for a snack while you browse? This fair has got you covered, with Balay Coffee serving up mouthwatering sweet treats and beverages. There’s also a free water fountain on site.
