IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Give yourself permission to dream and then let your imagination wander off in any and every direction. Others may be alarmed at your apparent lack of self-control this year but they will also be impressed when they see your name up in lights.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

With both your ruler Mars and the approaching new moon on your side at the moment life is good and about to get even better, but you really must spend less time worrying what other people think about you. Their opinions no longer matter.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

Your confidence could take a bit a dive over the next two or three days as cosmic activity in the most sensitive area of your chart causes you to believe that your efforts are not good enough. They are though, and everyone but you can see it.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

Encouraging activity in the area of your chart that governs friendships and group activities means there will be a great deal happening today and almost certainly you will be at the centre of it. You won’t be allowed to stand on the sidelines.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

Your long-term ambitions will come under intense scrutiny over the next 24 hours and if you have not yet decided what your plans are for the rest of the year you need to make up your mind quickly. Others are looking to you to give a lead.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

If you get the urge to move out and explore some place new today don’t question that impulse just follow it wherever it might take you. Don’t worry about the cost either as your needs will be taken care of by others every step of the way.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

The best way to overcome a difficulty of some kind is to act as if it does not exist. The less mind power you give it the less it will be able to worry you or disrupt your efforts in other areas. Focus instead on more optimistic activities.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

If you let other people have their way today you are less likely to encounter opposition to your own plans. Act as if you are not the least bit against what friends and family members want to do, even if it annoys you intensely.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

The more eager you are to get started on a new project the more important it will be to stand back and look at it from a wider and higher perspective. Forget about all the details you will have to master and look instead at the bigger picture.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

There should be clear evidence now that one of the very best times of the year is well underway. Tomorrow’s new moon will make it easy to focus both your thoughts and your feelings on one specific aim. Hear that sound? It’s your destiny calling.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

The challenge you will face between now and the weekend is to not be overly concerned when people say things you don’t like and when events run counter to your long-term plans. Deal with reality as it is, not as you want it to be.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Words will come so easy to you today that there is a very real danger that you will say too much and give your rivals information they might be able to use against you. Knowledge is power and must be shared wisely, or not at all.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

You may be tempted to take an outsize risk in hopes of making some serious money but the planets say that won’t be necessary. The approaching new moon will take care of your financial needs so you can focus on more creative activities.
