IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Your passion for work will take up a large percentage of your time this year and your efforts will be praised far and wide. But you also need to set aside time for the people in your life who require something different, not least your love.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

You may be tempted to push yourself even harder and faster this weekend but the planets indicate you will accomplish more if you slow down a bit. Why do all the difficult stuff yourself when you can easily persuade others to assist you?

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

The best way to impress people in positions of authority isn’t to make a big show of what you are doing but to stay calm and get through your tasks one at a time. They don’t want flashy workers, they want ones they can rely on.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

You could be too nice and too forgiving for your own good over the next 48 hours, especially when dealing with people who clearly are not as quick of mind and body as you are. Are they really so slow or are they just being lazy?

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

You don’t have time for the kind of emotional self-indulgence that some people seem to think is the norm. It’s a tough world out there and the only sure way to get ahead is to be tough as well. Let the weak look out for themselves.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Rest assured that everything in your life is going according to plan and there is no need to make any major changes. That may at times seem doubtful this weekend as the full moon undermines your confidence but it’s the truth, so hang in there.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

The fact that you have no interest in a project or program that your colleagues think is fantastic suggests that you are on the wrong team. You are under no obligation to force yourself to do things just to please other people.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Only do what feels right to you this weekend. If you allow yourself to be persuaded to do just one thing that goes against the grain you can be sure there will be plenty of other things further down the line. Say “No” and mean it!

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

Because this weekend’s full moon occurs in the career area of your chart you would be wise to think twice before picking a fight with your employer. It could be that is exactly what they are hoping you will do, so don’t fall for it.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

Routine always bores you but it will bore you more than ever over the next 48 hours. Give yourself permission to go out and have fun and ignore those who say you are being irresponsible. They may be right, but so what?

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Some kind of crisis will arise this weekend and there will be a lot of headless chickens running around as a result. You, on the other hand, will keep your head firmly in place and do what needs to be done. Normality will soon be restored.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

You may be inclined to hold back from criticizing a friend because you don’t want to hurt their feelings but you probably won’t be doing them much of a favor. They need to understand what they’ve done wrong so they can put it right.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

Keep a hold on your emotions this weekend because the full moon could spark a raging inferno if you let your feelings spiral out of control. What a colleague says about you may be unfair but it cannot damage you in any material way.
