IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

You can’t change the world on your own but you can have an outsize influence this year by joining with people who share your values and promoting them together. There is not only safety in numbers, there is cosmic power as well.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Are you in tune with the spirit of the times or are you battling against it? The planets warn that refusing to change your ways out of sheer stubbornness isn’t a tactic that is going to work. Let go of the past and embrace the future.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

You need to start thinking in ways that are not all about who is going to win and who is going to lose. There are more than enough good things in your world to keep everyone happy, so start looking for those win-win solutions.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

If someone misquotes you or takes your words out of context today you must make a very big fuss. If you let them get away with it now they will surely bend the truth even more later on, so speak up and set the record straight.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

If you find yourself in a tricky situation today don’t try to bluff your way out of it. The only sensible option will be to admit that you made a mistake and set about putting it right. It’s no big deal - you’re human like everyone else.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

At some point today you may fear the worst and expect your plans to fall apart at any moment, but most likely that won’t happen. Instead, the universe will help you make the best of a bad situation, so long as you make an effort too.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

If you have to change your plans at the last moment today you won’t be happy about it but as you don’t have a say in the matter why waste time getting angry? Accept that it’s out of your hands and make sure the change is a good one.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Don’t worry too much if something you value goes out of your life over the next 24 hours, because over the following few days something ten times better will come in to fill the gap. Always be looking for the next big opportunity.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

With mind planet Mercury at odds with your ruler Pluto today it would be easy to fear the worst, but you can if you wish overrule that fear and transform it into something positive. Control the way you think and you control your fate as well.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

If you try to keep something you know to yourself today it probably won’t work and, when others find out that you’ve been holding back on them, they won’t be happy about it. There must be no secrets between you and the people you love.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

You may not feel entirely satisfied with your current situation but it’s not as bad as you seem to believe, so keep moving ahead at the same steady pace and expect step-by-step improvements rather than miracles. Easy does it - but do it!

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

You may feel a bit tense today as Pluto in your sign is poorly aligned with mind planet Mercury, but it is only a passing phase so keep your head down for a bit and expect improvements by the weekend. You could do with a breather.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

Keep telling yourself that no matter how much others may try to undermine your confidence today they won’t succeed. Cosmic activity in your fellow water sign of Cancer means you have what it takes to overcome any and all negativity.
