Let’s make the most of the sun while we have it. From touring the FIFA World Cup to Sakura Days at VanDusen, here are 10 of the best things to do in Vancouver this weekend (April 10-12).

Set to transform VanDusen Botanical Garden into a spring paradise, this popular two-day cultural fair is about more than just the stunning cherry blossoms. It’s an opportunity to learn more about all things Japan, from the food to traditional tea ceremonies, to live taiko drumming performances.

When: Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12, 2026
Time: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, and until 5 p.m. on Sunday
Where: 5251 Oak St. 
Cost: $9 to $24 per person

It’s officially peanuts and Cracker Jacks season. Baseball is back at the Nat, and the Vancouver Canadians are up against the Eugene Emeralds all weekend long.

Not ready to give up your fun winter layers? Vancouver Fashion Week is here, and this weekend is all about fall and winter fashion. The series of shows celebrates global creativity and diversity through a wide range of Vancouver-based designers and Canadian talent, and you won’t want to miss it.
