The weather may be cooling down, but things are only beginning to heat up in Calgary’s event scene. From photo exhibitions to craft workshops, there’s lots to add to your agenda in and around Calgary.

Here are the best things to get up to this Jan. 30 to Feb. 1 weekend in the city. Don’t forget to enjoy a hot chocolate or a poutine along the way!

Every February, participating cafés, restaurants, and chocolatiers compete for the coveted titles of YYC’s Best Hot Chocolate, Best Spirited Hot Chocolate, Most Creative Hot Chocolate, Worth the Drive and special Cup That Runneth Over Award. Calgarians can sip a variety of hot chocolates and determine the blend that roasts them all!
