We’re up for another fabulous weekend in the city! And this time, it’s a long one. With Victoria Day this Monday, May 18, we have an extra day to do whatever we want. Luckily, there are tons of things to do in Toronto this weekend that will make you want to head out and get some fresh air.

Here are 10 of the best things to do this weekend in Toronto.

Celebrating the long weekend, Roywoods will be giving away 100 free patties this Friday, May 15. Both its Square One and Union Station locations will be participating in the event. Quantities will be available until all patties are gone.

When: Friday, May 15, 2026
Time: 11 a.m.
Where: 65 Front St. W. and 100 City Centre Dr. Entrance 4, Mississauga, Ont.
Cost: Free

“Get ready for a three-day festival celebrating halal food, cultural traditions, and artistic expression,” share organizers. The Toronto Halal Bites Festival will bring together the best halal food vendors, local artisans, live entertainment, and more this weekend.

When: Friday, May 15 to Sunday, May 17, 2026
Time: Friday 5 to 10 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from noon to 10 p.m.
Where: Nathan Phillips Square — 100 Queen St. W.
Cost: Free

Electric Island is back this Victoria Day long weekend and is set to take over Woodbine Park. Expect two days of open-air energy, heavy rhythms, and a stellar dancefloor.

Adriatique, It’s Murph, Kevin De Vries, Serafina, The Martinez Brothers, and more will bring the heat this weekend.

When: Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17, 2026
Time: 2:30 to 10 p.m.
Where: Woodbine Park — 1695 Queen St. E.
Cost: $150+

The beloved annual event is back and will run every weekend until Sept. 27. Whether you’re looking to pick up art, stationery, candles, or just a fun knick-knack, head to the Kensington Flea Market this weekend.

When: Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17, 2026
Time: 11 a.m to 7 p.m.
Where: 216 Augusta Ave.
Cost: Free

For the first time ever, Champs Sports Run Club is coming to Toronto this Saturday. It’ll be hosted at Toronto’s Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre, inviting runners of all levels to join a guided 5K run led by Shore Runners Toronto Run Club. It will be followed by refreshments, recovery activations, live music and giveaways.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to experience Nike’s newly launched Pegasus 42 running shoe throughout the morning.

This woman-owned, AAPI small business specializes in “designing products that seamlessly merge Eastern and Western influences.”

This new festival is set to kick off the outdoor market season with a three-day celebration this weekend. It’ll be packed with international street food, live entertainment, and waterfront views.

When: Saturday, May 16 to Monday, May 18, 2026
Time: Noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and until 8 p.m. on Monday
Where: Sugar Beach — 11 Dockside Dr.

Backyard is making its highly anticipated return with its first event of the season, the Asian Night Market.

Kicking off part of its Backyard series, on May 16, from 4 p.m. to late, this one-night-only celebration will feature over 50 curated Asian-owned businesses.

And it’s all going down at the Stackt Market

You’ll get the chance to shop over 500 Hello Kitty and Friends products, including an exclusive surprise. The Racing Club Vinyl Plush Pendant Surprise Box is an exclusive launch that can only be found at the Canadian pop-up.

Another immersive experience is in Toronto, and this time it’s brought a vibrant, dreamlike world to life. Claude Monet: The Immersive Experience will feature over 300 of Monet’s creations, transforming them into interactive works of art.
