Delightful Development Co. and Woodbine Development Co. announced a $160 million, two-hotel resort development at the northeast corner of Main and 23rd Street in the Fort Worth Stockyards.

The development is planned on more than 3 acres and will extend along more than 1,000 feet of Marine Creek frontage. It will include 225 rooms and suites across two independently positioned hotels that will share a subterranean parking garage.

The site will include about 30,000 square feet of open greenspace and entertainment space with access to the Marine Creek Promenade. The promenade will provide direct access to the low-water crossing at Lonesome Dove and connect to Mule Alley.

Plans also call for a pool with cabanas overlooking Marine Creek. The project will include about 18,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 4,000-square-foot event barn and lawn and a 7,500-square-foot ballroom. A 4,500-square-foot rooftop meeting space and outdoor lawn will overlook the Stockyards.

Each hotel is planned to include a lobby bar, outdoor seating, fire pits and entertainment. The development will also include restaurants with outdoor dining, a rooftop restaurant and bar, a day spa with pool access, and about 3,000 square feet of retail space.

The larger hotel is planned to incorporate native and natural materials, textiles, found objects and art. The neighboring boutique hotel is planned to operate at a smaller scale. Both hotels are to include guest rooms and food-and-beverage offerings.

The project is being developed through a public-private partnership involving the City of Fort Worth and Tarrant County-TIF #15.

Groundbreaking is targeted for fall 2027, with an opening planned for spring 2030.
