‘Apartment’ JTBC Weekly K-Drama is Coming to Netflix in 2026

JTBC K-dramas continue to be an important piece of Netflix’s ever-expanding Korean content. The next confirmed JTBC K-drama coming to Netflix in the second half of 2026 is Apartment, which stars Ji Sung, Ha Yoon Kyoung, Moon So Ri, and Park Byung Eun.

Apartment is an upcoming internationally licensed South Korean Netflix Original drama series from JTBC, directed by Jo Yong Won (Sketch) and written by screenwriter Kim Yoon Young (My Strange Hero).

When is Apartment coming to Netflix?

At the time of writing, Apartment has yet to receive an official release date for JTBC or Netflix. The only confirmation we have is that the K-drama will be released sometime in the “second half of 2026.”

The series will have a total of 12 episodes, with new episodes to arrive on Saturdays and Sundays. Each episode runs approximately 70 minutes. 

Episodes will first be broadcast on the South Korean cable network JTBC before being added to the Netflix library on the same day.

What is the plot of Apartment?

The synopsis has been sourced from Soompi:

“Depicts the story of former gangster Hae Gang, who runs for apartment residents’ association president to get his hands on the building’s hidden money, only to unintentionally uncover corruption within the complex. Along the way, he gradually becomes a local hero.”

Who are the cast members of Apartment?

Confirmed for lead roles in Apartment are Ji Sung, Ha Yoon Kyoung, Moon So Ri, and Park Byung Eun 

Ji Sung plays Park Hae Gang. The actor has yet to star in any Netflix series and will make his Netflix debut in Apartment. The actor has led popular K-dramas such as Connection, Doctor John, The Devil Judge, and, most recently, The Judge Returns.

Ha Yoon Kyoung plays Kang Ha Ri. The actress recently starred in the popular Netflix series Undercover Miss Hong and previously played a lead role in See You in My 19th Life. The rest of her appearances on Netflix have been limited to guest and supporting roles in dramas such as Resident Playbook, The Frog, Extraordinary Attorney Woo, and Hospital Playlist.

Moon So Ri plays Jang Suk Jin. The actress previously played lead roles in When Life Gives You Tangerines and Queenmaker. She has played supporting roles in Hellbound season 2, The School Nurse Files, and the Netflix film Seoul Vibe.

Park Byung Eun plays Lee Chung Won. The actor has played lead roles in Netflix K-dramas such as Dear Hongrang and The Bequeathed. He also played supporting and guest roles in Destined with You, Alchemy of Souls, Kingdom season 2, and Arthdal Chronicles.
